1. "Possession of child pornography is punishable by up to 10 years in federal prison. Each count of receipt of child pornography carries a five- to 20-year prison term.

All the charges also carry a potential fine up to $250,000, federal law states."

2. " A forensic examination of Butler's home computers and external storage media, which were seized by FBI agents in February 2007, found more than 6,000 still images and more than 200 video clips of child pornography.

On Sunday April 22, 2007 the Santa Barbara News-Press reported thousands of illegal contraband images on their computer. Several editors used the unprotected computer, they chose one man to target, a serious smear. Made worse by their cavalier disregards.
